Our Goal: Providing Opportunities for Leadership & Self-Reliance Through Education
The Cambodia Education Assistance Fund, Inc. provides financial assistance through USA sponsors, to disadvantaged girls and boys from poor rural areas in Cambodia—for their continued education in Cambodia at the secondary school and university levels.
CEAF is an Arizona based non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2010 (EIN 27-2514763) for the purpose of providing financial support for secondary and university students enabling them to continue their education through the university level. We match students with USA sponsors who are willing to provide continued monthly support for English and computer instruction, Khmer lessons, and in some cases—tuition, books, study materials, food and housing, occasional medical costs, and a small personal stipend.
Our students come from very poor rural families in Cambodia who, without outside support, would never be able to further their education in English, computers, their native Khmer language, or attend a university. Without financial help, most would never finish secondary school—their destiny would be living with their parents, getting married, having many children, and living a life of extreme poverty.
As a sponsor, being responsible for the transformation of a poor rural student into an informed, well-rounded, and educated scholar is incredibly rewarding. Without a sponsor, attending a university and majoring in Finance, Law, Business, Banking, Medicine, Accounting, International Relations, etc. is at best, only a distant and impossible dream.
With your help, these young students can become the leaders of tomorrow in Cambodia which so desperately needs educated people to guide its future.
